I love characters who are battered and broken by life, who through the course of finding love, discover they are strong.
Characters who have to fight and work for their love.
I adore angst and dark themes because those of us who have been through hell deserve love too.
I will always believe that love conquers all.
The S in S. Rodman stands for Sez. I don't share my pronouns because I'm still working out what they are. So feel free to think of me as / use any that you please.
I do know that I’m outrageously queer and very proud of it.
I live in Wales in a dilapidated Victorian villa with marble fireplaces and stained glass windows. In which I take great delight in swanning around in whilst wearing various silky robes, pretending that I’m some sort of character from a gothic novel.
Unlike most authors I don’t have any cats. I have the world’s daftest labrador as a companion instead. He is very good at listening patiently to all my story ideas.
I’m chronically single, a state I vehemently insist that I adore. But the fact that I spend all my time writing or reading romance books may indicate that I wouldn’t entirely object to a hot alpha coming along and sweeping me off my feet.
If that does ever happen, I’d definitely write a book about it.
